Skimming the top

I met some local skim-boards today they didn't speak any English they still let me do two hour photo shoot I haven't looked at everything yet (there's like 600 pictures) but here's a few, maybe more later? I'm not really happy with sequence(the only one that has been edited)but I'm sick of using this laptop so make sure and click on it to see it at full size (it's massive)

Lazy sunday

We had a few couple of lazy days in sayulita not much to say played some fooseball, stayed in a really nice palapa spent a lot time in the hammock out front. We spent all day driving today but we are now at the furthest south point of trip and aren't moving for a week or so and we got in just in time for the end of the sunset. Also I finally wanted to edit badly enough to use a laptop mouse. I was in black in white mood.

Here's end of the earlier post I got really sick yesterday and then spent all day today on the beach hence the lack of diversity in the photos but we're in a fishing town so the birds are out of control I could watch them for hours but tomorrow we're off to find a new home for a few days. I really love it here though I will come back some day for sure

Viva Mexico

We just left san blas and loved it except the bugs were bad enough to drive us out of town after one day(and I did grow up camping on Vancouver island every summer). a local dog fallowed us everywhere and slept outside the tent at night her name is Julie meet a local run a away hippie from the states and he turned out to be an awesome slide guitar player so we went to his show and partied with locals for the first time we just pulled into the prettiest beach yet lot`s more photos tomorrow.

The journey begins

The last few days have been super hectic we had to clean and rearrange the whole van now that it's warm enough, we did some more full 12 hour driving, but we did spend a whole day in the ocean snorkeling we are now in Mazatlan drinking mate watching the sun rise then we have another four or so hours of driving and we will be at our first real stop San Blas. Depending on how nice it is there we could be there any where from two days to a week either way the beach community are scattered within in hour or so of each other so no more long drives for a long time! This break will also give me time to post some of the photos. Well time for some Mexican highway driving stay warm everyone I know I will.

Hola!

Today was a day of many firsts for the trip. First time seeing the ocean, first cerveza, first margarita, first time setting the tent, first time cooking. We didn`t get more then our feet in the ocean because this far north the water is still super cold but tomorrow we`re renting wet suits and going snorkeling.It was a good enough day that I went from wondering if I should have left edmonton and it`s minus 30 bullshit to wondering why I would ever go to it.Here`s some of the photos from today.
